A Message From the President

Wilkes University has begun the process of updating its comprehensive campus master plan to help us meet the educational and lifestyle needs of our students, the teaching and scholarship requirements of our faculty, and the urban development goals of our city. During the summer, members of Sasaki Associates, Inc. will be meeting with faculty and staff to learn more about the university’s facility and campus needs. We plan to have a draft master plan for campus comment in six to nine months. During this time, we hope that all members of the university will freely share their best ideas about how our campus should look and operate in the years ahead.

This important project will shape the campuses’ physical footprint for years to come and is critical to keeping the campus up-to-date in terms of new living, learning and economic development trends.

I encourage you to bookmark this web site or visit it frequently. It will be updated periodically by Sasaki to keep you informed of important developments regarding the campus master planning process.

Dr. Tim Gilmour
