UOIT and Durham College Campus Master Plan

Message from the Chair, Master Planning Steering Committee

Durham College and UOIT – the future is now

The start of 2009 marks an exciting time at Durham College and the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) as we enter the public consultation portion of our Campus Master Plan process and move one step closer to determining our campus vision for the coming years.

Everything from increased greenspace and pedestrian boulevards to significantly enhanced student life space, new labs, more teaching areas, retail space and more is being considered. The sky is the limit!

A key component of this process is feedback from students, faculty, staff and the community at large. As we work towards adopting a final plan, we are asking for your input and suggestions as to what you think the campus should look like in the coming years. As you read through this website, you will find details about some of the options before us and information that is key to the planning process.

The future is now at Durham College and UOIT – please let us know the various ways you think we can grow. We look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Franklin Wu
Chair, Campus Master Plan Steering Committee
Board of Governors, Durham College and UOIT
